John Chitambo is Head of Music at the International School in the Seychelles. He holds a BA Honours degree (BMus) in music education from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He also holds a Music teachers’ Diploma from Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce in Lusaka, Zambia. John is currently pursuing a Masters degree (MMus) in Music education from the European University Cyprus. He is also Grade 8 certified in Violin, Saxophone and Piano performance by the music examinations body Trinity Guildhall in London.
John attended the PASMAE 2017 Conference in Mbabane, Swaziland where he was elected as a Vice-President of PASMAE and will serve on the PASMAE Executive Committee for 2017-2019. His bid to host the PASMAE Conference in the Seychelles in 2019 was successful, so he will also serve as Conference Chair for PASMAE 2019.
