Welcome from the President

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all musical arts practitioners, educators, academics, professionals and various stakeholders to this important PASMAE-ISME Regional Conference 2027 through which we will interrogate innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability within Musical Arts Education. PASMAE is committed to creating opportunities, such as this one, where members in the musical arts communities of practice grow professionally, meaningfully network, and contribute new knowledge that might shape the practice of musical arts education. Musical arts embed various communities of practice, such as managers of performance venues and community centres, museologists, cultural arts practitioners, educators, researchers, designers, a wide range of support service providers, craftsmen and women, and technicians, and all these actors are invited to participate in various ways in the conversations at this conference. I welcome all of you to participate in this experience!
